About Us
We are Millard Trap Club
The Millard Trap Team (MTC) provides students the opportunity to shoot trap competitively at the local, state and national levels. MTC’s goal is to provide a safe, structured and fun way to introduce student athletes to the sport of trapshooting while working to hone their marksmanship skills, grow as responsible citizens and develop lifelong relationships with teammates, coaches and competitors. MTC does not discriminate based on the basis of sex, race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin or sexual orientation.
The MTC does not receive any financial or material support from the Millard Public School District. The MPS District recognizes trapshooting as an extracurricular club sport in which student athletes can earn Varsity letter recognition. Unfortunately, the Millard Public School District does not provide financial or physical support to MTC. These responsibilities rest squarely on the MTC membership which includes student athletes, parents/guardians, a cadre of coaches and a support staff comprised of adult volunteers. MTC does not employ persons to support its activities. Although some financial support is generated through individual and corporate donations, over 95 percent of the financial burden is carried by the parents and guardians of our student athletes.
